Bus to travel via Alyth then west side of Loch of Lintrathen, across junction to turning area at road end of Westerton Farm.

 Circular walks on tracks to the west or

 north incl Hills of Wirren.

 Glen Truim/Dalwhinnie to

Kingussie

 

Cuaich for walk past Loch Cuaich into Kingussie via Phones, General Wade’s road (15 miles) or shorter to Ralia (10/11 miles). Fast walkers could include Meall Chuaich.

 

 Bus to travel via A9 beyond Dalwhinnie for drop off at Cuaich.

Traquair to Galashiels 13 miles (or Yair 10/11 miles) along Southern Upland Way (Sept 2016)

Bus to travel via Peebles, Innerleithen to Traquair. Start:  331347

Trossachs

 

Walk along Great Trossachs Path to Loch Katrine. (10 miles?) 

Possible from Brig O’Turk along GTP to hotel (503064) for Ben Venue for fast walkers

 

Bus via A9 to Callander, then A821 towards Loch Katrine.

 

Start: 595067. Road end at Coilantogle Farm and Brig O’Turk (tbc)

 

Pick ups Loch Katrine car park (charge)

Walks from Glen More Lodge (Pass of Ryvoan and the Thieves Road), Meall a’Bhuachaille;  round Loch Morlich or walks from Ski Car Park (if requested) for fast walkers

 

Bus via A9 to Aviemore, Loch Morlich & Cairngorm Ski Parking area (if requested)

Through Walk

 

Bus via A9 for drop off at Ballinluig Services Continue A827 via Aberfeldy, Kenmore and along north side of Loch Tay.

Lochnagar/Loch Muick

 

Through walk from Crathie (down Glen Gelder towards Gelder Shiel to Spittal of Glen Muick car park. (10 miles)

As above , taking in Cac carn Mor (Lochnagar)  down to W end of Loch Muick and car park. (15/16 miles) for fast walkers.

 

Bus to travel via A93 for drop off  on B976 (Crathie)

Start: 265943. Travel E to turn off at Ballater for Glen Muick.

 

Pickups: Spittal of Glen Muick car park (charge).

 OS 43 Thru walks

 

Glen Isla

 

Walk past  Linns Car Park, E side of River Esk to Kirkton of Glen Isla via Auchentample Loch, Cateran trail.

 

Higher level via Monega, Glas Maol and down to Cairnwell CP for pick up.

 

Bus as far as Fergus turning point 1 mile

short of Auchavan.

 

 Pick ups, Kirkton of Glen Isla and Cairnwell Car Park, bus via B951 to A93 & ski car park.

Campsies/West Highland Way

 

Start: 673859 Randleford Bridge for Meikle Bin & more (8.75miles)

Start: Fintry village for Earl’s Seat & more (7.5 miles)

Start: 524836 Dumgoyne old station, walk via the West Highland and John Muir Ways. (8.75 miles)

 

Bus to go via A9 Stirling and W along B818 for drop offs (as requested)

Thru walk

 

Lochearn Fife Pilgrim Way

 Markinch to Ceres or

Kennoway to Cereshead

 

Start: 297020. Full route 13 miles or 8.5 miles if start from Kennoway

Bus to travel through Fife to Markinch, with drop off in Kennoway (if requested)

 

Pickup: Ceres

 

 Fifers could be picked up and dropped
