does the Club go out?

o
Usually the 3rd Sunday of each month, but please check
our programme.
- £20.00 per trip, half price if under 16. A membership fee of £10 will be
charged this year to all participants over the age of 16.
- Yes. All participants over the age of 16 will be expected
to pay the requested membership fee.
- If
you are new to the Club, you will only be asked for such a fee on your
2nd attendance, giving you the opportunity to decide you’d like to continue walking with us.
- This varies depending on the time of year, but we'd advise
-
- Waterproof/windproof jacket and over-trousers
- Hat and gloves
- Rucksack
- Walking boots
- Torch, especially in winter.
|
o
Take food for the day including a hot drink/soup if wished.
o
It's not a good idea to wear jeans.
o
You can leave spare clothes to change into on the bus.
- Usually there are 2 or 3 options involving various amounts
of ascent/descent, as well as lower level walks.
- When you first come with us, we'd try to help you decide
which walk is best for you - that's if you'd like us to.
- If you are an experienced walker, so long as you don't
walk alone, the choice is yours.
- Contact the Meet Secretary (see "Contact us"
page). They'll try to answer any other questions or take a booking
for the bus.
